Welcome to the website of our college!

Let me take you to the brief history of this historical college. This college was established in the year 1947 and is a constituent college of Osmania University. It was first named as Arts and Science College, and then later named as PG College of Secunderabad and University PG College, OU Secunderabad in 2017 subsequently.

The metro station is right outside of the main gate of the college. It makes the students conveyance convenient and comfortable. The college has well equipped classrooms and labs in the UG block. The UG block also has well established Physics, Chemistry and Computer Labs. The college has a newly constructed Centenary Academic Block with large and spacious class rooms for the departments. A hall of a modern design is a highlight of this building.

Its alumni have excelled in national and international areas of higher education and sports and other eminent fields. In the fields of cricket, politics, film, journalism, some held world records. Some of them have even become the Ambassadors of the other nations and some have become Vice Chancellors of various Universities.

The college offers varied courses in the fields of Humanities, Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce and Business Management and Computer Sciences. New courses are being added within its capacity, for the benefit of the students to cater to the needs and necessities of the generation. Students were given opportunity to understand the society and the nation through NSS and NCC units. The college has girls and boys wings of NSS (National Service Scheme) and Air wing in NCC. Students under these wings have scaled to higher positions at national level. The college has a hostel for PG boys and PG girls to facilitate the students to attend classes and to prepare for various competitive exams.

The college has effective IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell), Women Empowerment Cell and a Placement Cell. The college has a well equipped library which serves the students in reading regular subjects and for the various competitive examinations. It has Heath centre is always ready to provide basic remedies.

We are proud to mention here that our students have achieved awards and medals at the international level. Very importantly our students have been joining state and national level government services; their success makes the college proud and satisfactory. We are happy to mention that the college attracts meritorious students from all sections of the society and the world including the economically weaker sections.

We have a highly qualified faculty with a vast experience in their chosen fields of research. Their research publications at national and international journals not only makes them updated but also benefits the students in paving and designing their career to a global standards.
